I have a soft spot in my heart for brands that are made in the USA. Scratch that, I have a soft spot in my heart for brands that prioritize quality, craftsmanship, functionality AND that are made in the USA. The recently launched The Arrivals, does just that.
I recently wrote about my need and desire to simply my life and wardrobe – focus on quality and utility over quantity. It seems like just putting that out into the universe allowed me to start finding like-minded people and brands almost immediately. It wasn’t hours before I stumbled upon The Arrivals, a just-launched womens and menswear brand, and began drooling over the tightly edited Fall 2014 collection of outerwear. I mean, check out those leathers. And that coat. And the jackets, oh the jackets. All stylish, timeless, and functional just in time for the season.
Digging a bit deeper into it all, I found out that The Arrivals takes inspiration from architectural structures, all of which you can see reflected in the design of each piece. Each piece is also named after iconic masters or practices of modern architecture. The Fall collection is specifically inspired by the Goldstein House, a 1961 Los Angeles residence designed by architect John Lautner. Pretty cool, right?
I guess what I am so verbosely trying to get at is: The Arrivals is setting the standard for beautiful, purpose driven, refined design at a fair price point (all pieces are under $700). AND it’s all made in the USA by some of the best craftsmen in the industry from truly high-quality materials. What more can a girl ask for?
