|| Le Bilboquet: Finally made it over to this new little bistro in Buckhead Atlanta to have lunch and some of the best coffee I’ve had at a restaurant in a while. Let’s just say that I’m glad this place is right now the street from work – now I know exactly where to go for lunch (or dinner) when I’m feeling extra Francophile. || Homemade Lox + Bagel: made even more special by a fluffy everything bagel picked up fresh that morning from the bakery. I used quick-pickled onions on this instead of raw, which was a great idea, if I do say so myself. || Beet-tastic: Had my first go at fresh beet juice. After about 30 minutes of peeling and cutting (it looked like a murder scene, kinda) I finally had these babies in our juicer. Mixed them with a little ginger, apple and pear and voila, perfect morning juice. || Watershed: Oysters, beignets, lobster salad, and milk cake. The oysters were delicious but the milk cake stole the show. I’ll be back, Watershed. || Corso Coffee: Brand new coffee shop that also serves light, delicious food. Best vanilla latte I’ve had in a while, if I’m being honest. And the lovely patterned to-go cups and retro-italiano interior make me oh so happy. “It’s not just a coffee shop, it’s an experience.” || Cooks + Soldiers: A basque tapas joint that is far from just being a “joint”. Everything I ate was flavorful and interesting, without trying to hard. Great wine list and cocktails are so on point I’m already making plans to go back.
