A few months ago I posted about the High Museum of Art‘s groundbreaking first fashion exhibition, Transforming Fashion: Iris Van Herpen, and then went to check it out myself. To say it was incredible would be an understatement, truly. Going from room to room and seeing the incredible work was an evening well spent. I was blown away by every piece and found myself staring at one in particular for quite a while. ( check out the silver stunner below!)
Featuring 45 outfits from 15 of van Herpen’s collections, this exhibition is an amazing celebration of the art of fashion design and features some of the world’s first 3D printed designs. For more information on the exhibit and 1000 other reasons to go see it before before it’s gone, check out my last post.
If you live in Atlanta and haven’t had a chance to check it out, this week is your last chance. The exhibition is open until May 15th. That’s exactly 6 days for you to get it together and get down to the High for one of the coolest things you’ll ever see. So, what are you waiting for!?
